Police Blotter: 'Fugitive Friday' Criminals Arrested

The following arrest information was provided by the Watsonville Police Department and the Sheriff's Office. It does not indicate a conviction.

Four people featured in Patch's "Fugitive Friday" column have been arrested in less than a week, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Albert A. Ramirez, 25, was booked into County Jail on Monday by Watsonville police. Ramirez, a Norteño gang member from Watsonville, was wanted for DUI. 

 was brought in by a bail bondsman, deputy April Skalland reported Monday. Grillo, a 49-year-old Soquel man, was wanted on drug charges. He was featured in "Fugitive Friday" on Feb. 3

Veronica Carrillo, 27, was picked up on warrants by Watsonville police on Friday. 

, 36, was arrested by sheriff's deputies on Friday for Watsonville police warrants. The Watsonville man was wanted for parole violations and domestic violence, and was in "Fugitive Friday" on Feb. 10.

Watsonville Police Log, Monday, March 12

1:23 a.m.—A 25-year-old man was arrested for a warrant on the 200 block of Hushbeck Avenue.

11:43 a.m.—A car stereo was stolen from an unlocked car on the 1700 block of Freedom Boulevard.

5:53 p.m.—A woman was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant on East Beach and Alexander streets.

6:24 p.m.—A 16-year-old boy was riding his bike on the wrong side of the road and without a helmet on at Palm and East Lake avenues. When a cop stopped him, he gave a fake names and false birth dates. He was arrested.

Sheriff's Office Log, Saturday, March 10

4:35 p.m.—A thief stole two 30-packs of Tecate from Harvest Moon Market on the 500 block of Green Valley Road.

9:41 p.m.—A man was arrested on two misdemeanor warrants on the 400 block of Green Valley Road.

10:21 p.m.—Stephen David Gonzalez was arrested on suspicion of selling marijuana. Deputies contacted him because he had a warrant, then reportedly found nine baggies of marijuana that totaled 15.9 grams, $551 cash and text messages on his phone indicating he was selling. He was arrested on Blanca Lane.

Friday, March 9

2:21 a.m.—Thomas Marquez, a parolee at large, was arrested on two warrants in an apartment on the 1600 block of West Beach Street.

8 a.m.—A man was arrested for a warrant on Airport Road.
