Police Blotter: Gang Task Force Makes Drug Bust

The following arrest information was provided by the Watsonville Police Department, the Sheriff's Office and the county Gang Task Force. It does not indicate a conviction.

A two-month probe into drug dealing in Watsonville wrapped up Thursday afternoon when the county's Gang Task Force raided a mobile home in a Green Valley Road trailer park and arrested three people, task force Cmdr. Mario Sulay reported.

Antonio Rocha, 30, and Juan Rocha, 38, who are not related, were detained outside of Antonio's mobile home at 501 S. Green Valley Rd. when authorities served the search warrant there around 1:45 p.m.

The search netted several methadone pills—an opiate used to treat heroin addiction—and 1.3 grams of heroin packaged to sell, according to Sulay.
