Police Blotter: 7-Eleven Robbed at Gunpoint

Apparently, the upcoming free Slurpee day wasn't enough for these two.

Two men robbed an Airport Boulevard convenience store at gunpoint late Tuesday and got away with cash, Watsonville police reported.

It happened around 9:20 p.m. at the 7-Eleven. The robbers came in wearing hooded sweatshirts and covering their faces with bandannas. One brandished a handgun at the clerk and demanded cash from the register, Watsonville police said.

They got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. The whole robbery lasted about two minutes, police said.
