Watsonville Police Log, Sunday, Nov. 11

Assault—Police investigated a case on the 900 block of Freedom Boulevard around 11 a.m.

Car Break-in—A vehicle was burglarized on the 400 block of Holm Road overnight. Two windows were broken and the car stereo was stolen.

Parole Hold—A 50-year-old woman was arrested for a parole violation on the 1300 block of Main Street around 5:20 p.m.

Warrant Arrest—A man was arrested at Motel 6 around 10:10 p.m.

Drunk in Public—A man was arrested on the 700 block of Rodriguez Street about 10:30 p.m. A short time later, a second man was arrested in that area for a warrant.

Saturday, Nov. 10

Drug Charges—A 20-year-old man was arrested for having drug paraphernalia on the 1000 block of Green Valley Road around 2:30 a.m.

Vandalism—The top of a convertible was damaged overnight on the 600 block of Lincoln Street.

Shoplifting—A woman was arrested for a warrant and drug charges when she was caught shoplifting on the 500 block of Auto Center Drive.

Illegal Drugs—A man pulled over for having an obstructed license plate was arrested for having marijuana and a probation violation on Holm Road and Anna Street around 10:40 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 9

Vandalism—A car was damaged on the 200 block of Clifford Avenue overnight.

Drug Charges—Two men, ages 28 and 56, were arrested for having drug paraphernalia on the 100 block of Harkins Slough Road around noon.

Harassing Phone Calls—A man was calling a woman at work and on her cell phone after being told not to do so.

Car Break-in—A car was burglarized on Bridge and Blackburn streets during the afternoon.

Probation Violation—A teenager was arrested on the 200 block of East Beach Street around 2:20 p.m.

Car Burglary—A vehicle was broken into on Orchard Street and Brewington Avenue overnight.

Arson—A vehicle was set on fire on the 100 block of Lighthouse Drive around 3:35 p.m. The red Nissan Sentra was fully engulfed; flames were coming from the gas tank.

Restraining Order Violation—A 46-year-old man was arrested for a restraining order violation on the 100 block of Holm Road around 5:30 p.m.

Imitation Gun—A teenager discarded an airsoft pistol that had been altered to look like a real gun whne officers contacted a suspicious group in front of a home on the 400 block of Madison Street around 9:20 p.m.

Warrant Arrest—A 39-year-old man was arrested for two warrants on Pennsylvania Drive and Clifford Avenue around 11:45 p.m.

Transporting Drugs—A man was arrested for transporting methamphetamine between counties. It happened on the 100 block of Harkins Slough Road just before midnight.

Thursday, Nov. 8

Petty Theft—A Garmin GPS, cell phone charger and a disabled parking placard were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 800 block of Lake Village overnight.

Drunk in Public—A man was arrested on the 100 block of Claremont Avenue around 10:06 p.m.

Restraining Order Violation—A man showed up at his ex-girlfriend's house on the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue unannounced around 11 pm. He was violating a protective order.
