Police Blotter: Battery, Theft and Vandalism in Watsonville

The incidents below were reported by Watsonville police for Dec. 18, 2012.

Watsonville Police Log, Wednesday,Dec. 18

2:44 a.m. -- Marco A. Lopez was found allegedly overdosed on heroin  in the 500 block of Rodriguez St. He was taken to a local hospital; a small bindle of herion was found at the scene. 

11:52 a.m. -- A woman suffered battery in the 200 block of Center Street; No suspect information was available. 

Noon -- A suspect entered the store and bought items on which the price codes had been switched in the 1000 block of South Green Valley Road.

2 p.m. -- A woman’s vehicle was keyed in the 400 block of Madison Street, thhe same place where it was keyed Dec. 12.

9 a.m. to 7:27 p.m. -- A home was burglarized and a locked vehicle parked in the driveway was stolen in the 100 block of West Fifth Street.

This is that time of year,keep your eyes looking all around for the person who wants to steal from you. Having said that I wonder if that is happening more often period. People riding the bikes around parking lots looking for doors open or someone not watching & they grab from the cart.. sticky fingers
