Police Blotter: Beer Theft and Probation Violations
The following arrest information was supplied by the Watsonville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Thursday
10:48 p.m. Thomas Hoyt, 51, was pulled over for an expired registration on Harkins Slough Road and Southbound Highway 1. A warrant check revealed that he had a misdemeanor arrest warrant.
9:47 p.m. Police contacted Oscar Curry in front of the CVS located at 490 Rodriguez Street. Curry had a methamphetamine pipe, as well as illegal drugs. He was arrested.

8:41 p.m. Marcos Avalos, 18, was viewed by Watsonville Police running from the 76 gas station on E. Lake Ave with 18 packs of beer. Avalos ran when he was stopped, and was found to be on violation of his probation.
4:20 p.m. Cezar Espinoza, 31, was arrested for DUI, possession of controlled cannabis, and driving with a suspended license on Rodriguez Street and Riverside Drive. He was later transported to Santa Cruz County Jail for booking.

2:30 a.m. Unknown suspects entered the locked vehicle and stole multiple items on the 100 block of Vista Verde Circle. There is no suspect information.
12:47 a.m. John Anderson and Christopher Kline were arrested for jaywalking on the 400 block of Rodriguez Street. Kline was arrested for delaying a police officer and having a misdemeanor warrant. Anderson was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
