Police Blotter: Beer Thieves Strike
The following arrest information was supplied by the Watsonville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
This happens from time-to-time at convenience stores in Watsonville:
Early Thursday, two men went into the 7-Eleven on the 1400 block of Main Street and stole beer from the cooler. They fled in a black Honda, according to police.
So were they not of age? No cash for beer? And, what brand did they snag?

9:34 a.m.—A car was vandalized on the 100 block of Blackburn Street.
10:40 a.m.—Santiago Borja, 86, was cited for indecent exposure. He exposed himself to a Kmart employee.
10:49 a.m.—Christopher Nielsen, 27, was sleeping in his car in the Kmart parking lot and was arrested for possessing drug paraphernalia, two warrants and a probation violation.
12:54 p.m.—A teenager was cited for violating the gang terms of his probation on the 600 block Rodriguez Street.
6:26 p.m.—Fernando Ruiz was involved in a family argument on the 400 block of East Lake Avenue and was arrested for drunk in public.
7:06 p.m.—A storage container on the 400 block of Herman Avenue was burglarized.
