Police Blotter: Break-Ins and Vandalism

The following arrest information was supplied by the Watsonville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

7 p.m. Unknown suspects used an unknown object to cause damage to the exterior paint of the RP’s parked and locked vehicle at Jefferson Street and E. Fifth Street.  

6:59 p.m. An unknown suspect broke a window, gaining access into a room on the 700 Block of Freedom Blvd.

5:07 p.m. Israel Grijava was likely driving drunk on the 300 block of E. Fifth Street while his license was suspended for DUI. He intentionally tried to hit a skateboarder with his car. A fight ensued and Grijava was taken to a local hospital with a head injury. 

3:30 p.m. An unidentified suspect stole a three-ring binder full of photographs on the 100 block of Beach Street. 

11 a.m. An unknown suspect entered a residence through an unlocked back door and removed objects from inside on the 200 block of Rogers Ave.
