Police Blotter: Burglar Caught Climbing in Open Window

Watsonville Police Log, Wednesday, June 13

6:37 a.m.—A car burglar stole items from a vehicle on the 1500 block of Vic Rugh Lane.

9:53 a.m.—A burglar removed a padlock from a storage locker on the 100 block of Westgate Drive and stole items. It happened in the past three weeks.

11:56 a.m.—A man was ticketed for an outstanding warrant at the police station.

12:07 p.m.—A 40-year-old man was caught climbing into an open window from a side yard on the 100 block of Main Street. He was arrested for trespassing.

1 p.m.—A teenager was caught violating his probation.

5:11 p.m.—A 42-year-old man allegedly shoplifted from a store on the 1700 block of Freedom Boulevard. He was ticketed.

7:40 p.m.—Two men were arrested on the 600 block of Main Street: one for a probation violation; the other for resisting arrest.

10:46 p.m.—A 43-year-old man was arrested for having drugs on the 1800 block of Freedom Boulevard.

Sheriff's Office Log, Wednesday, June 13

6:08 p.m.—Deputies were investigated a robbery that happened Tuesday when they found drugs and drug paraphernalia in a motel room on the 900 block of Main Street. One man was arrested.

7:11 p.m.—A know Norteño gang member was pulled over by deputies. He had about 1.2 grams of cocaine on him and was arrested.
