Police Blotter: Busy Burglars
Two schools and a business have been burglarized this week.
Break-ins were rampant early in the week in Watsonville.
Burglars hit late Tuesday, and vandals smashed a window at early Wednesday, reported.
At Starlight, which was burglarized around 9:10 p.m., a laptop was stolen. The vandalism at H.A. Hyde happened five hours later. Nothing was reported missing there, police said.

Earlier Tuesday, five burglars used a brick to bash in the front door of a business on the 900 block of East Lake Avenue. Surveillance cameras showed them stealing clothing and shoes just after 2 a.m., police said.
But the burglary crew fled and haven't been found, according to police.

There's no indication the break-ins are related.

2:10 p.m.—An empty building on the 1400 block of Main Street was vandalized.
4:26 p.m.—A 13-year-old boy was cited at for having a marijuana pipe. He was released to a parent.
4:56 p.m.—Jordan Ellis, 22, was arrested on a warrant on the 200 block of Stanford Street.
6 p.m.—Two teenage boys were cited for allegedly shoplifting from .
7:49 p.m.—Guadalupe Villalobos, 26, was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant on the 100 block of Ford Street.
9:53 p.m.—Gerardo Iglesias Marmolejo was arrested on the 200 block of Hyde Street for a warrant.
