Police Blotter: Car Stolen in San Juan Bautista Found

Watsonville Police Log, Friday, Oct. 12

12:32 a.m.—A man was arrested for drug-related charges and a warrant on the 700 block of Main Street.

Thursday, Oct. 11

1:06 p.m.—A 26-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting from Kmart and a parole violation.

5:21 p.m.—A gang member was arrested for having burglary tools, including a vehicle master key, on the 1000 block of Freedom Boulevard. He also was violating his probation.

6:03 p.m.—A man was arrested for a probation violation on the 200 block of Union Street.

9:49 p.m.—A man stopped for vehicle code violations was arrested for DUI on Buena Vista Drive and Calabasas Road.

Wednesday, Oct. 10

8:49 a.m.—A man reported someone broke a mirror off of his truck on the 100 block of Holly Drive.

9:05 a.m.—A children's playhouse was stolen from a front yard on the 200 block of Carey Avenue.

10:54 a.m.—A teenager was ticketed for violating his probation on Sixth and Walker streets.

1:25 p.m.—Two men were arrested for warrants on the 1800 block of Main Street.

3:26 p.m.—A Honda reported stolen in San Juan Bautista was found at the Motel 6 in Watsonville and returned to its owner.

6:28 p.m.—A business was burglarized on the 1700 block of Freedom Boulevard.

9:48 p.m.—A man was arrested for a felony warrant on the 100 block of West Beach Street.

Tuesday, Oct. 9

8:10 a.m.—A man was ticketed for urinating in public on the 100 block of South Green Valley Road.

10:15 a.m.—A woman was arrested for two warrants on the 100 block of Carey Avenue.

10:29 a.m.—Two burglars tried to break into a home by coming through the backyard and attempting to break down the door on the 100 block of Hope Drive.

12:49 p.m.—A teenager was arrested for a warrant on East Lake Avenue and Lincoln Street.

2:05 p.m.—A car was burglarized on the 100 block of Elm Street.

8:30 p.m.—A woman reported her landlord walked into her trailer without permission. It happened on the 1900 block of Freedom Boulevard.

8:47 p.m.—A man stole beer from a store on the 1900 block of Freedom Boulevard. He fled in a black Cadillac STS with two other men in it.

9:53 p.m.—A teenager broke down the front door of a home on the 100 block of Lawrence Avenue and shouted gang slogans. He vandalized the family car on his way out.

10:23 p.m.—A woman reported a sexual assault.
