UPDATED Police Blotter: Cars Stolen

The following arrest information was provided by the Watsonville Police Department and the Sheriff's Office. It does not indicate a conviction.

Two vehicles were stolen and a third that had been stolen previously was found in Watsonville on Tuesday, according to the police department crime log.

First, a vehicle stolen earlier was recovered on the 400 block of Second Street between, police reported.

But two other vehicles were reported stolen in the evening. A woman's car was stolen from in front of her home, on the 500 block of El Rio Street, around 8 p.m. An hour later, a car was reported stolen from in front of a home on the 500 block of Center Street. That theft happened sometime between 4:30-9 p.m., according to police.

Vehicles are stolen in Watsonville from time-to-time. For example, , according to the CHP. Also in December, two separate groups of teenage boys were , according to Watsonville police. In one instance, .

8:23 a.m.—A teenage boy got a ticket for vandalism on the 100 block of Sudden Street.

8:25 a.m.—Officers were called to deal with a shoplifter on the 400 block of Rodriguez Street.

3:49 p.m.—A 60-year-old man was arrested for DUI after a crash at 1912 Main St.

5:58 p.m.—Two men tried to rob La Rosa Super Mercado at knife point, but fled without getting any cash.

9:22 p.m.—A teenager was arrested for a felony warrant on the 1600 block of Freedom Boulevard. He was taken to Juvenile Hall.

11:09 a.m.—Deputies arrested a man for a warrant in an apartment at 187 San Andreas Rd.

Monday, Jan. 2, 2012

4:16 p.m.—A man left threatening phone messages for his ex-wife and her father, who live on Calabasas Road.

Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012

12 a.m.—There was an argument at a home on Hawthorne Avenue. One person was hurt and went to the hospital, but refused to cooperate with deputies.

9:30 a.m.—A vandal keyed a car parked at 149 Celia Dr.

Friday, Dec. 30, 2011

3:56 p.m.—Three men with a pellet gun shot out a window on another man's car on the 700 block of Browns Valley Road in Corralitos. The owner of the damaged vehicle followed the three men and got the license plate number of their car, then turned the information over to sheriff's deputies. One person was arrested for negligent discharge of a pellet gun.

8:05 p.m.—A husband was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery on Buzzard Lagoon Road after he allegedly chest-butted his wife and ransacked their house.
