UPDATED Police Blotter: Drive-by Shooting

The following arrest information was provided by the Watsonville Police Department and the Sheriff's Office. It does not indicate a conviction.

Shots fired at a house near Freedom Boulevard on Saturday night went through a garage wall and struck a chair a woman was sitting in, according to Watsonville Police.

Someone shot into a garage on the 100 block of Mariposa Drive around 9:48 p.m. Saturday, police reported.

Officers responded to a report of gunshots, but didn't find anything. The people living in the garage, which had been converted into a home, also didn't notice anything amiss. However, the next morning, the home owner found a bullet hole next to the garage door. Inside, he discovered one of the chairs had been struck with the gunfire.
