Police Blotter: Driver Caught with Methadone Pills

The woman was trying to navigate Hecker Pass Road while allegedly high on drugs Thursday morning.

Deputies arrested a woman who was allegedly driving Hecker Pass Road while high on drugs and without a driver's license, the Sheriff's Office reported.

The woman was stopped around 10:20 a.m. Thursday near mile marker 6 of Highway 152. Deputies reported she was on probation and had methadone pills with her. The woman also didn't have a license and was suspected of DUI.

She was arrested and, when she was booked into jail, correctional officers also found two hypodermic needles hidden in her clothes, the Sheriff's Office reported.

12:30 a.m.—A man pulled over for a vehicle code violation was arrested for a warrant. He also had methamphetamine with him. It happened on the 700 block of Freedom Boulevard.

3:11 a.m.—Two gang members were arrested for violating the terms of their gang probation on Ford and Kilburn Streets. The man and woman, both 19, were taken to County Jail.

Thursday, Aug. 23

9:57 p.m.—A parolee was arrested for a warrant on the 100 block of West Beach Street. A few minutes later, officers arrested a second man for a parole violation in the same area.
