Police Blotter: Drug Possession and DUIs

The following arrest information was supplied by the Watsonville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday was a relatively quiet day for Watsonville, when drug possession, DUIs and theft topped the list of crime.

Tuesday, June 21
4:34 p.m.— An unknown juvenile entered a Valero store on the 1100 block of Main Street and took two 18-packs of Budweiser without paying for them. He fled by foot, and the case has now been closed due to a lack of suspect leads.

5:17 p.m.— Gustavo Bautista, 29, was arrested for an outstanding warrant on the 100 block of Broadis Street. He was cited and released at the scene.

17:09 p.m. —Marcos Nunez, 25, was arrested for an outstanding warrant on the 100 block of Carnation Street, and booked into county jail.

10:11 p.m. —Erik Valencia, 19, was contacted by WPD, as he was on probation with search terms. He was searched, and found to possess hash. He was then arrested on the 100 block of Jefferson street, and taken to County Jail.

Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office, Tuesday, June 21

3:34 p.m. —Alfonso Flores Viaverde was arrested for a DUI after he was pulled over for a vehicle code infraction.
