Police Blotter: Drug Possession and DUIs
The following arrest information was supplied by the Watsonville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Monday
10:37 p.m. Gabriel Gonzalez Solis was contacted during a traffic stop on the 400 block of Westridge Dr. He was arrested for DUI.
5:05 p.m. Two unknown suspects stole a Honda from the 2000 block of Freedom Blvd. The theft was captured from a distance on a security camera.

8:11 a.m. An unknown suspect used a weight to break a window on the 500 block of Main Street. The case was suspended due to a lack of leads.

9:52 p.m. A 14-year-old male juvenile was seen jaywalking on the 700 block of Main Street. An officer attempted to contact him, but he fled on foot and was caught. He discarded a fix blade knife while the officer was chasing him. He was cited and released to his mother at the WPD.
3:21 p.m. Jesus Quintero was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and narcotics on the 100 block of W. Front Street. He also had two outstanding warrants and was transported to County Jail.
2:39 a.m. A citizen watched Joe Martinez, 22, smash a vehicle’s car window and take a handbag on the 200 block of Anna Street. He was detained nearby. The purse was found and released to its owner, and Martinez and his girlfriend were placed in custody.
7 a.m. Rigo Garcia was arrested for exhibiting a kitchen knife during an argument on the 100 block of Union Street. He was transported to County Jail.
2:16 a.m. Police contacted Juan Yepez, owner of El Mira Mar Bar. Yepez was serving alcoholic beverages after business hours.
12:13 a.m. An unknown suspect discharged a firearm at Jefferson Street and Waters Alley. Officers located one easing in the area, but there is no suspect information.
