Police Blotter: Drug Possession and Theft

The following arrest information was supplied by the Watsonville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday

9:45 p.m. Police stopped a vehicle for a vehicle code violation on Carr Street and Center Street. During the investigation, police located illegal drugs inside. The driver, Paul Madrid, was arrested for a violation. 

9:08 p.m. An unknown person(s) entered the victim’s vehicle and took a credit card.

8:49 p.m. Francisco Huezo was arrested for public intoxication on Rodriguez Street and Sixth Street. He was transported to Santa Cruz County Jail for booking.

7:42 p.m. Rosalie Griego was stopped for driving with her front headlight out on Loma Prieta Ave and Holly Drive. She was driving with a suspended license and also had a warrant. The vehicle was impounded and Griego was released from the scene.

4 p.m. Vanessa Zamora was contacted on the 1100 block of E. Lake Ave with two warrants for her arrest. She was in possession of drug paraphernalia and appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

10:30 a.m. An unidentified suspect vandalized the victim’s vehicle on the 100 block of Ridgeview Drive by scratching the entire vehicle.

9:30 a.m. Someone stole 20 pills of Depacote from the victim’s room on the 100 block of W. Lake Ave.

8:19 a.m. Anger Hernandez-Sillas was arrested for stealing a bottle of tequila from Food Max on the 1400 block of Main Street.

3:04 a.m. Guy Lovell was contacted in public on the 1900 block of Freedom Boulevard and found too intoxicated to care for himself.
