9:39 p.m.—Anthony Tavera, 32, was arrested for possessing drug paraphernalia after a parole search at his Jefferson Street house turned up contraband in his room.

12:09 a.m.—Police investigation a a drug and weapons case on the 400 block of Herman Avenue.

10 a.m.—A burglar shattered a window on a Lakeview Drive apartment, then stole two TVs, a Wii with 20 games and several jewelry boxes. Neighbors in the complex, on the 300 block of the street, didn't report seeing anything amiss.
