Police Blotter: Drunk Man Arrested Twice in 8 Hours
Also, there was an arson attempt and a car break-in.
Watsonville Police Log, Wednesday, Aug. 8
2:18 a.m.—A 22-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public after he got into a fight with his girlfriend on Harkins Slough Road near Ohlone Parkway.
8:43 a.m.—A 45-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public on the 200 block of Union Street. Eight hours later, the same man was found passed out drunk on a rear loading dock of a Freedom Boulevard business. He again was arrested. This time, he was taken to Watsonville Community Hospital for treatment before being jailed.

9:25 a.m.—A man was ticketed for an outstanding warrant on the 100 block of Main Street.
10:19 p.m.—An attempted arson occurred on the 100 block of La Hacienda Street, near Ohlone Parkway.

10:28 pm.—A car burglar stole a purse from a locked vehicle. The purse contained over $300 in cash, a photo card and a cell phone. It happened n the 100 block of Jefferson Street.
10:36 p.m.—A man reported being threatened by another man on the 100 block of Bright View Lane.
Sheriff's Office Log, Tuesday, Aug. 7
3:59 p.m.—A burglar threw a brick through a sliding glass door to break into a house on the 700 block of White Road.
