Police Blotter: Drunk Man Arrested Twice Sunday

Also, a rash of car burglaries were reported over the weekend.

A 30-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public on the 700 block of Rodriguez Street at 1:16 a.m. Sunday, Watsonville police reported.

He was arrested again for the same charge on the same street just before 5 p.m. that day, police said.

Monday, Nov. 5

Public Intoxication—A drunk man causing a disturbance on his neighbor's front porch was arrested on the 400 block of East Beach Street around 12:25 a.m.

Resisting Arrest—A man was arrested for resisting police on Tuttle and Hill avenues around 1:42 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 4

Marijuana Possesion—A man fled from police at Motel 6. He was caught and arrested for having marijuana as well as a parole violation around 12:50 a.m.

Vandalism—Tires on two cars on the 100 block of Sudden Street were slashed overnight.

Probation Violation—A teenager was arrested around 12:48 p.m. on the 100 block of Sudden Street. He was cited and released to his parents.

DUI—A 26-year-old man was arrested for DUI after he missed a stop sign on Second and Menker streets.

Saturday, Nov. 3

Car Burglaries—Vehicles were broken into on the 500 block of McKenzie Avenue, the 100 block of Richardson Avenue and the 100 block of Jefferson Street overnight.

Vandalism—A car window was shattered on the 900 block of East Lake Avenue in the past two days.

Vandalism—An apartment complex was vandalism with spray-painted graffiti on the 200 block of Pacifica Boulevard.

Marijuana Possession—A car was stopped for tinted windows and illegal drugs were found. It happened on Freedom Boulevard and Davis Avenue around 9:50 p.m.

Probation Violation—A 26-year-old man was arrested for drug use and a probation violation on the 400 block of Union Street around 10:07 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 2

DUI—A 21-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, possessing an illegal knife, resisting arrest, battery on a police officer, a probation violation and driving without a license around 1:30 a.m. on the 300 block of Hushbeck Avenue.

Drug Possession—Two men, ages 44 and 47, were arrested for drug possession and warrants on the 300 block of Main Street around 9:30 a.m.

Vandalism—A vandal etched gang graffiti on a car. The vandalism, reported at 1:30 p.m. on the 500 block of Airport Boulevard, happened overnight and will cost more than $400 to fix.

Drug Possession—Two men, ages 22 and 28, were arrested on drug charges on the 100 block of Rockins Lane at 2:37 p.m.

Shoplifting—A 20-year-old woman was detained at Target at 3:49 p.m. and ticketed.

Restraining Order Violation—A man texted another person, violating a restraining order. It was reported at 7:32 p.m.

Warrant Arrest—A 34-year-old woman was arrested for a warrant at 8:22 p.m. on the 1400 block of Main Street.

Battery—Two teenage girls beat up two other girls on the 400 block of East Beach Street around 9:40 p.m.

Expired Registration—A car was stopped for expired registration on the 700 block of Freedom Boulevard around 10:30 p.m., and both the driver and passenger lied about the driver's name. Both—a 22-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man—were arrested.

Drug Possession—A 22-year-old man was arrested for a warrant and a small amount of methamphetamine on Lighthouse Drive and Vista Verde Circle around 11:51 p.m.

Thursday, Nov. 1

DUI—A woman was arrested for DUI on Riverside Drive west of Loughead Street just after midnight.

Warrant Arrest—A woman was arrested for a warrant on the 600 block of Lincoln Street around 8 a.m.

Marijuana Possession—A teenage girl was ticketed for having marijuana on the 1400 block of Freedom Boulevard.

Vandalism—A vandal spray painted tags on the back wall of KFC, on the 1600 block of Freedom Boulevard. The damage happened overnight.

Vandalism—Gang graffiti was scratched onto the hood of a car on the 100 block of Syndey Avenue.

Warrant Arrest—A woman was arrested for a Santa Clara County warrant on the 1900 block of Freedom Boulevard around 11:15 a.m.

Probation Violation—A teenager was arrested on the 1100 block of Freedom Boulevard around 3:11 p.m.

We got one too sweetcakes (some caring person actually tucked it into my door handle so it wouldn'tRead More blow away) even though I have a "No on T" sign in my yard. The "Yes on T" is all lies anyway so it went right into my recycle bin. Perhaps it was just coincidence but they came while we were at the City Council meeting last night. Go figure.
