Police Blotter: Drunk Threatens Cops

Surprisingly, no odd-ball crime was reported on Friday the 13th.

Saturday, Sept. 14
DUI: A suspected drunken driver with three passengers in his car stopped at Marin and Rodriguez streets around 12:15 a.m. Three men, including the driver, were arrested for alcohol related charges and making threats against a police officer. The men, ages 36, 43 and 44 were taken to jail. A woman in the car, age 32, was not arrested.

Drugs: A woman, age 40, was arrested for being high and for a warrant on the 700 block of Main Street just before noon.

Burglary: Two teenage boys were arrested for attempted burglary, having burglary tools, conspiracy and resisting arrest on the 700 block of East Lake Avenue around 12:30 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 13
Drugs: A man was arrested for having drugs and drug paraphernalia, and also for giving police a fake name. He was picked up on the 1800 block of Freedom Boulevard around 1:30 a.m.
Weapons: A 12-year-old brought a box knife to school.

Shoplifting: A man was cited for stealing from Kmart around 11:30 a.m.

Thursday, Sept. 12
Drunk in Public: A man was arrested on the 1500 block of Freedom Boulevard around 6:40 p.m.

Drug Possession: A man was arrested for having methamphetamine and violating his probation. It happened on East Beach and Blackburn streets around 10:30 p.m.

Resisting Arrest: A man drinking alcohol on the 100 block of Silver Leaf Drive just before 11 p.m. ran from police but was eventually caught and arrested for resisting and violating his probation.
