Police Blotter: Drunken Driver Crashes Three Times Before He's Stopped

Also, shoplifters were all over CVS on Tuesday, but several were caught and ticketed.

Wednesday, Sept. 18
Vandalism: The front window of a home on the 1600 block was shattered with a rock around 3 a.m. 

Theft: A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 400 block of Spruce Court in the past two days. 

Hit and Run: A suspected drunken driver hit a car in the Target parking lot, then fled and crashed into another car near Starlight School He hit a third vehicle in front of the Economy Inn before he was stopped and arrested. It happened just after 7 p.m.


Vandalism: Two tires were slashed overnight on a car parked on the 100 block of Herman Court. The vehicle also was keyed.

Tuesday, Sept. 17
Shoplifting: CVS on Rodriguez Street was a repeated target Tuesday. A woman was cited for theft there around 4:15 p.m., then a man was ticketed for the same violation around 7:40 p.m. Shortly thereafter, two teenagers tried to steal from the store. They also were caught, cited and released to their parents.

Shoplifting: A man stole from a store on the 1700 block of Freedom Boulevard around 2:45 p.m.

Vandalism: A DirectTV antenna was yanked off a home on the 100 block of Pennsylvania Drive during the afternoon.
