Police Blotter: Drunks Get Into Trouble

Five men were arrested for public intoxication Sunday—one "left the house against the advice of his wife;" another was "having issues" with his girlfriend.

Watsonville Police Log, Sunday, Oct. 7

12:43 p.m.—A teenager was arrested for violating the gang terms of his probation on Pennsylvania Avenue and Hammer Drive.

3:48 p.m.—A man was arrested for a warrant on the 100 block of Rodriguez Street.

4:19 p.m.—A drunk man left his house against the advice of his wife and several Watsonville police officers. The 54-year-old was arrested for being drunk in public on the 100 block of Blanca Lane.

4:44 p.m.—A 57-year-old man was yelling obscenities at a Tuttle Avenue resident. He was intoxicated and arrested for disturbing the peace.

6:24 p.m.—A 31-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public after officers were flagged down on the 700 block of Rodriguez Street. Apparently, he and his girlfriend were having issues.

11:17 p.m.—A 20-year-old drunk man was arrested on the 100 block of West Fifth Street.

11:53 p.m.—A 41-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public on the 100 block of Main Street.

Saturday, Oct. 6

12:32 a.m.—A 25-year-old man was arrested for a warrant in the Safeway parking lot on Freedom Boulevard.

1:07 p.m.—A teenager was detained on the 300 block of Bree Lane for a Propbation Department issue.

3:18 p.m.—A 61-year-old man left his wallet at a business on the 1100 block of Freedom Boulevard. It was gone when he returned five minutes later.

3:27 p.m.—A man in a black Toyota masturbated in front of teenage girls on the 400 block of Airport Boulevard.

9:35 p.m.—A burglar came in through a kitchen window on the 200 block of Pacifica Boulevard, then stole cash from the bedroom.

10:12 p.m.—A woman was arrested for a warrant on the 1700 block of Freedom Boulevard.

Friday, Oct. 5

12:08 a.m.—A man was arrested on drug-related charges on the 100 block of Madison Street.

12:34 a.m.—A passenger in a vehicle ticketed for not wearing a seat belt also had a warrant and was arrested on the 1400 block of Main Street.

3:38 a.m.—A woman was arrested for a warrant, having methamphetamine and possessing drug paraphernalia on the 100 block of West Beach Street.

7:28 a.m.—Rocks were thrown through the windows of a house on the 600 block of Palm Avenue.

11:06 a.m.—A 49-year-old woman said someone threw a hard object at her car wahile she was driving on Riverside Drive. It damaged the roof of the car.

5:33 p.m.—A woman was ticketed for shoplifting a bottle of liquor from a store on the 400 block of Rodriguez Street.

8:46 p.m.—A family argument got physical on the 200 block of Silver Leaf Drive. A boyfriend of a relative hit another family member.

8:50 p.m.—Officers investigated a DUI collision on the 100 block of West Beach Street.
