Police Blotter: Suspected Drug House Busted

The following arrest information was provided by the Watsonville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Five people were arrested on drug charges at a home in Watsonville following complaints from neighbors and lots of 911 calls in the area, Watsonville police reported.

Officers went to the house, at 515 Berman Ln., around 10 a.m. Sunday to do a probation search. There were seven people home at the time, police said.

Arrested were Misty Meza, 47, on suspicion of possessing drugs; Jose Luis Murillo, 41, on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia; Manuel Murrillo, 41, on suspicion of possessing narcotics and violating his probation; and Brian Thomas, 24, on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and violating his probation. Sharon Delgadillo, 48, was jailed on suspicion of maintaining a place for the use of drugs, a probation violation and possessing drug paraphernalia, police reported.

All five were booked into County Jail.

1:23 a.m.—A 25-year-old man was arrested on a warrant on the 200 block of Hushbeck Avenue.

2:56 a.m.—An 17-year-old known gang member was arrested at 624 Rodriguez St. for hanging out with other Norteños and violating his probation. He was given a court date.

Sunday, March 11

8:28 a.m.— was arrested on the 400 block of Sherwood Court.

8:35 a.m.—A woman refused to leave a business on the 1800 block of Freedom Boulevard and was arrested.

1:38 p.m.—A woman was arrested with methamphetamine and cocaine on the 1300 block of Main Street.

2:44 p.m.—People made a citizen's arrest of a 22-year-old man suspected of shoplifting on the 1700 block of Freedom Boulevard. He got a ticket.

9:34 p.m.—A 42-year-old man didn't yield for pedestrians on Dolores and East Lake avenues. He had a warrant and was arrested.

9:55 p.m.—A 49-year-old woman who is a wanted parolee was arrested on the 100 block of Contento Drive.

Saturday, March 10

12:38 a.m.—A 31-year-old man charged at a patrol car and was arrested for being drunk in public on Main Street north of East Fifth Street.

3:12 a.m.—A wanted man was arrested on Main Street and Riverside Drive. He also had a methamphetamine pipe.

4:25 a.m.—A man was arrested for a warrant on the 400 block of Main Street.

2:20 p.m.—A thief stole two 12-packs and a 24-pack of Corona beer from Supermax on the 900 block of East Lake Avenue. An employee tried to chase him but didn't catch the thief.

3:17 p.m.—A man was arrested for a misdemeanor warrant and public intoxication.

5:50 p.m.—A 38-year-old man allegedly stabbed a 49-year-old man in the right wrist after a fight on Riverside Drive west of Blackburn Street. One man was arrested.

7:19 p.m.—Assailants beat a 21-year-old man with an aluminum bat on the 400 block of Rodriguez Street.

8:17 p.m.—A man was arrested for a warrant during a traffic stop on San Juan Road and Porter Drive.

Friday, March 9

1:28 a.m.—A car burglar stole a stereo from a locked car on the 700 block of Lincoln Street.

2:37 a.m.—A 27-year-old woman was arrested for warrants on the 100 block of West Lake Avenue.

8:07 a.m.—A man was arrested for embezzlement after an investigation by Target security. He got a ticket and was released.

12:25 p.m.—Overnight, someone stole prescription medications from a home on the 100 block of East Beach Street.

1:33 p.m.—A teenager was detained for shoplifting from Kmart and was caught with an ice pick and marijuana. He was a taken to Juvenile Hall.

3:09 p.m.—A man stole a purse from a store on the 100 block of Mariposa Avenue.

6:52 p.m.—A woman reported that someone used her Social Security Number to get a job.

Thursday, March 8

9:10 a.m.—A 22-year-old woman was arrested for a felony warrant on the 100 block of Crestview Court.

12:57 p.m.—A 13-year-old ran away from a group home guardian while visiting Watsonville and hid out with relatives on the 100 block of West Fifth Street.

2:37 p.m.—A 15-year-old boy hit his mom after she wasn't able to leave work to take him home. He was arrested on the 100 block of East Beach Street and taken to Juvenile Hall.

3:14 p.m.—A 31-year-old man got a ticket for shoplifting from Kmart.

10:54 p.m.—A man was arrested for the DUI on the 800 block of East Lake Avenue.

11:57 p.m.—A 19-year-old was pulled over on Harkins Slough Road and Ohlone Parkway after he allegedly pulled a dine-and-dash at Applebee's. In addition to not paying his bills, he had several warrants.

Wednesday, March 7

6:21 p.m.—Alejandro Alonzo, 27, was arrested on suspicion of robbery, grand theft and criminal threats after attacking a friend sitting on a bench, police reported.
