Police Blotter: Felon Arrested with Meth, Fake SS Cards

Also, six teenagers were caught with a stun gun and alcohol, and a resident scared off a burglary.

Officers found ammunition, drugs and fake Social Security cards when they served a search warrant Sunday morning, Watsonville police reported.

One man was arrested at the home, at 157 Manana Ln., according to County Jail records.

Isidro Sanchez Quintana, a 53-year-old convicted felon, was arrested on suspicion of having ammunition (he's banned from that because of his criminal record), possessing methamphetamine to sell, possessing drug paraphernalia and possessing fraudulent Social Security cards, Watsonville police reported.

Details about the investigation were not available. Quintana was booked into County Jail; his bail was set at $10,000.

1:30 a.m.—A 48-year-old man was arrested for a parole hold after he caused a disturbance outside the Stag Hotel, on the 100 block of West Beach Street.

2:42 p.m.—A 49-year-old woman was arrested on a warrant on the 100 block of Crestview Court.

5:36 p.m.—Two 19-year-old men were arrested for having alcohol and contributing to the delinquency of four underage boys on the 100 block of Jefferson Street. The four younger teens also got tickets for possessing alcohol and two had more serious charges: possessing a stun gun and altering a replica gun.

8:33 p.m.—A 23-year-old man ticketed for a misdemeanor warrant on the 100 block of Silver Leaf Drive.

9:44 p.m.—A 28-year-old man was arrested for being high on drugs on Rodriguez and West Beach streets.

10:09 p.m.—Burlgars broke down a carport door and ransacked a house on the 100 block of Miles Lane. They stole jewelry from the bedroom. The family was away at the time.

10:11 p.m.—A 50-year-old woman was arrested after she threatened to hurt the manager at Domino's Pizza on the 500 block of Main Street.

Saturday, March 24

1:23 a.m.—A 46-year-old man was stopped for riding his bike in the dark without a front headlight and reportedly had 1.1 grams of cocaine in his shoe. He was arrested in Waters Alley, off Sudden Street.

1:36 a.m.—A 27-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public on the 100 block of Altamont Drive.

3:21 a.m.—Burglars broke the outside display case at a business on the 1400 block of Main Street and stole several pairs of glasses. Police collected blood at the scene.

9:36 p.m.—A burglar kicked in a woman's backdoor and ransacked her home on the 600 block of Orchard Street.

Friday, March 23

7:21 a.m.—A 26-year-old man was arrested for a parole violation on the 100 block of Yaro Court. He was booked into County Jail.

2:20 p.m.—An employee gave a company gas card to her husband for personal use, then concealed the bill when it arrived at the office. She is suspected of embezzling more than $400. The business is on the 100 block of Brennan Street.

6:18 p.m.—A 25-year-old man was arrested for being high on drugs and having drug paraphernalia on the 100 block of West Lake Avenue.

7:01 p.m.—A 24-year-old man who lives in an apartment on the 100 block of West Beach Street was cited for a warrant.

7:11 p.m.—A teenage boy was arrested after he fled from police during a probation check on the 900 block of East Lake Avenue. He was later released to his parents.

9:30 p.m.—A 24-year-old man was arrested for having a switchblade knife and also violating his probation. He was picked up on Roache Road and Freedom Boulevard.

10:47 p.m.—A bike was stolen from an open garage on the 100 block of Cherry Blossom Drive.

Thursday, March 22

4:39 p.m.—Someone shot a BB or pellet through a store window on the 1000 block of South Green Valley Road.

9:41 p.m.—A burglary broke in through a second-story window and stole two Apple laptops from a home on the 100 block of Cherry Blossom Drive. Police took fingerprints from the scene.

10:53 p.m.—A 24-year-old man was arrested for causing a disturbance on the 100 block of Maranatha Drive.

Sheriff's Office Log, Friday, March 23

1:54 p.m.—A would-be burglar forced his way into a home on the 2700 block of Freedom Boulevard, but was confronted by the resident and scared off.

3:20 p.m.—Three Norteño gang members were arrested on Kingfisher Drive at Ohlone Parkway when a sheriff's deputy pulled over the car they were riding in. One was arrested for possessing cocaine; another was jailed for a probation violation. The car was towed.

11:50 p.m.—A parolee was arrested during a traffic stop on Freedom Boulevard. At jail, correctional officers found several bindles of marijuana and other drugs hidden on his person. He was booked on suspicion of possessing drugs and bringing contraband into a locked facility, as well as the parole violation.
