Police Blotter: Flag Stolen on Veterans Day

Also, a burglar has tried to break into the same Union Street business three times without success.

Sheriff's Office Reports

Home Burglary—A house on Enos Lane in Corralitos was broken into. It was reported around 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Theft—A flag and flag pole were stolen from a front yard on Calabasas Road around 7 a.m. Monday, the day Veterans Day is observed.

Home Burglary—A house on Skylark Lane in Corralitos was burglarized. Someone broke a window to get in. It was reported at 2:50 p.m. Monday.

Attempted Home Burglary—Someone tried to pry open the side door of a home on Paulsen Road on Saturday. It was reported at 2 p.m. that day. No entry was made.

Home Burglary—An unlocked garage on Calabasas Road was burglarized and items were taken from two cars parked inside. It was reported at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Warrant Arrest—A man was arrested on Second Street at 9:18 a.m. on Nov. 8.

Drunk in Public—A woman was arrested on Lee Road on Nov. 8.

Vandalism—A car was damaged on Green Valley and Minto roads. It was reported at 6 p.m. Nov. 7.

Wednesday, Nov. 14

Resisting Arrest—A man was arrested on Lincoln and East Beach Street around 12:15 p.m.

Home Break-in—An apartment was burglarized on the 100 block of West Lake Avenue. It was reported at 1:40 p.m.; a pink cruiser bike worth $207 was stolen.

Drug Possession—A woman was taken to jail around 3:20 p.m.

Car Burglary—A car stereo was stolen from locked car on the 400 block of Tuttle Avenue in the past five days.

Violating a Protective Order—A man was arrested for violating a restraining order on the 100 block of Crespi Way.

Drug Possession—A vehicle containing several people was pulled over on the 100 block of Harkins Slough Road and one person was on probation. Officers searched the car and found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and loaded high-capacity magazines.

Tuesday, Nov. 13

Warrant Arrest—A 23-year-old man was arrested for a warrant on Lincoln and Prospect streets around 1 a.m.

Commercial Burglary—A burglar attempted to break into a business on the 400 block of Union Street overnight by tampering with the dead bolt lock, but was unable to get it. This is the third attempted burglary at the same location.

Marijuana Possession—It happened on the 400 block of Arthur Road around 2:50 p.m. 

Grand Theft—A car was burglarized on the 900 block of Mckenzie Avenue and items worth more than $950 were taken. It happened between 8:30-11 p.m.
