Police Blotter: Gangster Arrested on ATF Warrant

Watsonville Police Log, Thursday, March 7
1:01 a.m.—A drunk man, 18, was arrested on the 100 block of West Fifth Street.

4:47 a.m.—A would-be burglar was stopped by officers after he tried to get into a locked home on the 1200 block of Lincoln Street. In searching his wallet for ID, cops found a white powder that tested positive for cocaine. The 26-year-old man was arrested.
11:44 a.m.—A 36-year-old woman was cited for a misdemeanor warrant on the 1000 block of Freedom Boulevard.

1:47 p.m.—A 42-year-old man was ticketed for having with 3.37 ounces of marijuana on the 500 block of Brennan Lane.
2:04 p.m.—A thief stole used cooking oil from a storage area on the 1400 block of Main Street.
4:34 p.m.—A shoplifter took items from a store on the 1800 block of Freedom Boulevard. No arrest was made.
6:19 p.m.—A 37-year-old woman was ticketed for a warrant on the 1100 block of South Green Valley Road.
9:45 p.m.—Several Norteño gang members were hanging out at Motel 6 on the 100 block of Silver Leaf Drive.One was arrested for an ATF warrant, another for having a methamphetamine pipe.
9:58 p.m.—A vandal hit the door of a house six to eight times with a hard object, denting and scratching the door. The house is on the 200 block of Pacifica Boulevard.
Sheriff's Office, Wednesday, March 7
5:33 p.m.—A wanted woman refused to sign a ticket that ordered her to appear in court, so she was arrested and taken to County Jail. The incident happened on Cunningham Way.
Tuesday, March 6
11:40 a.m.—A car burglar "punched out" the lock on a woman's car on the 2300 block of East Lake Avenue, but someone saw him and the would-be thief fled.
Monday, March 5
8 a.m.—A car burglar "punched out" the lock on the trunk of a car parked on School Way and stole a stereo.
