Police Blotter: House Shot While Man Was Home

Also, teens were caught 'casing' a classroom at E.A. Hall Middle School

A man living on the 100 block of Quiet Meadow Drive reported that his house had been shot at Monday, according to Watsonville police.

The shooting was reported at 2:12 p.m., but police didn't say what time the gunfire may have actually happened. The man said the side of te house had been shot once.

There was no information about the gunman, police said.

Drug Possession—A man dropped items on the ground when he noticed police on Main and East Beach streets around 8:45 a.m. Officers found the items—a set of keys and a pill container holding two hydrocodone pills. he was arrested for drug possession and a probation violation.

Grand Theft—A purse containing $200 cash, a cell phone and $5,000 jewelry was stolen on the 900 block of Main Street around 10:50 a.m.

Trespassing—Teens, ages 17 and 18, were caught at E.A. Hall Middle School. They were casing a portable classroom around 6:30 p.m. The younger boy was in violation of his probation; both were cited.

Drug Possession—A woman was arrested for having drugs on the 1300 block of Main Street around 9 p.m.

Driving Without a License—A man whose license was suspended for a prior DUI was caught driving with his headlights off on Anna Street and Lawrence Avenue around 10:40 p.m. He was ticketed.
