Police Blotter: Man Arrested For Warrant Sunday After Accidentally Calling 9-1-1

The following arrest information was supplied by the Watsonville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday

10:21 p.m. An unknown suspect kicked the locked front door to the business on the 900 block of Lincoln Street open, and then took over 100 calling cards from inside.

9:41 p.m. Ladonia Miller was arrested at 30 W Beach Street for a probation violation. He was transported to County Jail.

8:44 p.m. Fernando Carranza was arrested for having an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest. Carranza was taken to County Jail.

7:50 p.m. During a traffic stop on the 100 block of Winding Way, a male juvenile was arrested on a felony warrant. He was transported to Juvenile Hall.

7:02 p.m. Daniel Alanis, 31, was arrested for shoplifting from Kmart on the 1700 block of Freedom Boulevard. He was cited and released at the scene.

8:53 a.m. Jose Luis Rocha, 52, called 9-1-1 in an intoxicated state of mind, reporting suspicious people outside of his home on the 200 block of Silver Leaf Drive. He had a confirmed bench warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and transported to County Jail.

3:42 a.m. Roderick Madrid, 31, was arrested on the 100 block of Contento Drive for a misdemeanor warrant after accidentally calling 9-1-1. 

Saturday

8:27 p.m. Nadine Lopez was contacted for a report of suspicious activity. During the contact, she resisted officers on the scene on the 100 block of E. Beach Street. She was taken into custody and transported to Santa Cruz County Jail for booking. 

7:36 a.m. Police responded to a report of a theft in progress on the 100 block of Sakata Lane. Police located and arrested Ernie Ortiz, 20, and Jimmie Hicks, 40, for possession of stolen copper wire and a probation violation.

1:14 a.m. A vehicle was stopped for a violation on E. Fifth Ave and Lincoln Street. The passenger, Israel Grijalva, exited the vehicle and began to walk away. He was intoxicated and uncooperative. He had a switchblade knife in his possession and was booked into county jail.

Friday

8:45 p.m. Juan Carlos Rodriguez was arrested for public intoxication on the 1200 block of Main Street.

5:30 p.m. Emmanual Rocha was arrested for having an illegal knife in his possession on the 1800 block of Freedom Boulevard. He was given a citation and released at the scene. 

3:44 p.m. Police contact Alejadro Alonzo in public on the 100 block of E. Lake Ave. He had a warrant out of Merced County and was arrested on the warrant.

2:06 p.m. Leticia Rendon-Prucha was contacted in a parked vehicle at Callahan Park on the 200 block of Sudden Street. She was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and released at the scene.

1:24 a.m. An unknown suspect approached the victim as he was making a delivery on the 1400 block of Freedom Boulevard, punched him several times, and fled in his vehicle. The vehicle was located unoccupied by the CHP a short time later.

1 a.m. Police arrested Juan Carlos Rocha on the 200 block of Silver Leaf Drive for possession of narcotics, possession of paraphernalia, and a probation violation.
