Police Blotter: Man Attacked, Beaten with Bat
Also, a woman overdosed on heroin but was treated at the hospital and police made several drug- and alcohol-related arrests.
A group of men used a baseball bat to beat up another man late Saturday in Watsonville, police reported.
The assault happened on Auto Center Drive and Main Street around 9:50 p.m., police said.
No arrests were made.

12:19 a.m.—A 27-year-old man pulled over on Main and Rodriguez streets was arrested for having a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue in it.

6:50 a.m.—A burglar stole items from an unlocked vehicle on the 100 block of Claremont Avenue, but them left the property behind.
9:09 a.m.—A man was arrested on warrant and was interviewed about a theft case, but refused to talk. The arrest happened on the 2100 block of Freedom Boulevard.
10:46 a.m.—A man was arrested for drug possession on Maple Avenue and Union Street.
2:29 p.m.—A 13-year0old boy turned himself in for a felony warrant. He was taken to Juvenile Hall.
4:39 p.m.—A man was arrested for carrying a knife on Waters Alley and Sudden Street.
5:07 p.m.—A 23-year-old woman overdosed on heroin and was treated at Watsonville Community Hospital. She also had a warrant and got a ticket when she was released from the hospital.
Saturday, April 14
12:30 a.m.—A man was arrested for drug possession and being high on drugs on Walker and Second streets.
6:52 a.m.—A 35-year-old man was arrested for violating a restraining order on the 200 block of Pacifica Boulevard.
1:38 p.m.—A woman was arrested on warrants on the 1800 block of Main Street.
6:31 p.m.—A thief stole a bottle of methadone from an unlocked car on the 100 block of Maple Avenue.
7:39 p.m.—A 28-year-old man was arrested for a warrant on the 1100 block of Freedom Boulevard.
9:31 p.m.—Three men, ages 18, 19 and 28 were arrested for curfew and alcohol violations in River Park, on the 100 block of East Front Street.
11:58 p.m.—Two men and a teenage boy were in a car on Compton Terrace at Freedom Boulevard when police contacted them and arrested the teen for violating the gang terms of his probation.

8:06 a.m.—A thief broke several windows on a car and stole items. It happened overnight on the 300 block of Brea Lane.
2:42 p.m.—A man stole a 30-pack of Budweiser beer from a store on the 1900 block of Freedom Boulevard.
3:07 p.m.—A thief used a stolen debit card to make unauthorized purchases.
4:08 p.m.—A 26-year-old was arrested for shoplifting from Kmart.
4:58 p.m.—A 25-year-old man was arrested for a probation violation on Freedom Boulevard and Green Valley Road.
6:08 p.m.—A 44-year-old man was arrested for DUI after a car crash on East Lake Avenue and Lincoln Street.
7:54 p.m.—A 28-year-old man was arrested on a warrant on Harkins Slough Road and Walker Street.
7:58 p.m.—A 20-year-old was arrested for knowingly transporting alcohol in his vehicle on Harkins Slough Road at Quiet Meadow Drive.
8:35 p.m.—A 16-year-old was arrested with cocaine on the 300 block of Clifford Avenue.
9:16 p.m.—Two teenagers were arrested for violating their probation terms on the 700 block of Franich Drive.

6:30 p.m.—A man slammed his fist into a vehicle, causing $800-$1,000 damage. He was arrested on Karen Court.
7:40 p.m.—Two men were arrested on warrants on the 100 block of Holly Drive.
9:30 p.m.—A man was arrested for vandalism and a parole violation after he kicked and shattered the rear window and front windshield on his brother's vehicle. It happened on the 100 block of Delaney Avenue.

A woman was arrested on a warrant at her Browns Valley Road apartment.
Thursday, April 12
9 p.m.—A vandal slashed all four tires on a car parked at a Freedom Boulevard apartment, causing $800 damage.

A woman reported gang graffiti spray painted on her fence on Trembley Lane.
