Police Blotter: Man Attacked by Dracula and Friends on Halloween

Also, a teenager was busted for stealing beer.

Watsonville Police Reports, Thursday, Nov. 8

Warrant Arrest—A man was arrested around 12:30 a.m. on Union Street and Riverside Avenue.

Drug Possession—A man stopped for a traffic violation on the 1100 block of Freedom Boulevard was arrested for two warrants and having 7.2 grams of methamphetamine around 1:20 a.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 7

Vehicle Vandalism—Two cars were scratched parked on the 400 block of Watsonville Street were vandalism overnight. The crime was reported at 8:30 a.m.

Assault—A 40-year-old man was assaulted around 11 p.m. on Halloween by three males dressed as Dracula, Frankenstein and a werewolf on the 200 block of East Lake Avenue. He had to get 10 stitches after being hit in the head.

Shoplifting—A 16-year-old was arrested for stealing an 18-pack of beer from a store on the 1900 block of Freedom Boulevard around 3:15 p.m. He was ticketed and released to his mother.

Beer Skip—A thief stole two 12-packs of Modelo Beer from a store on the 1900 block of Freedom Boulevard around 3:30 p.m.

Fleeing Police—A teenager suspected of a municipal code violation ran from officers on Riverside Drive and Marchant Street around 5:11 p.m. Police caught him.

Public Intoxication—A 51-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public on the 600 block of East Lake Avenue.

Sheriff's Reports

ID Theft—A Watsonville man reported someone used his Ticketmaster accont to buy $1,007 of football game tickets in New York City. He reported the crime Nov. 2.

Vandalism—A car window was shattered on Minto Road on Nov. 11.

Vandalism—A car was damaged on Doering Lane. It was reported around 5 p.m. Oct. 31.

ID Theft—A Freedom woman discovered someone tried to open online accounts in her name at Target and Best Buy. She reported the crime Oct. 30.
