Police Blotter: Man Gets Two Tickets in 22 Minutes

Also, car burglars appear to be striking in the Loma Vista area.

A 23-year-old man was pulled over on Freedom Boulevard and Richardson Avenue around 11:39 p.m. Thursday. and given a ticket for driving on a suspended license.

He was let go but, 22 minutes later, was stopped again for the same violation. That was at Freedom and Compton Terrace. The man got a second ticket.

2:07 a.m.—A 49-year-old woman was arrested for a felony warrant on Walker Street and West Riverside Drive. She also had drugs on her.

8:51 a.m.—A man was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant on the 600 block of East Fifth Street.

12:23 p.m.—Overnight, someone smashed a window on a man's 2001 Honda Accord and stole a Wii console that was in a cloth bag. It's at least the second break-in on that street this week.

12:35 p.m.—A vandal smashed a window on a camper shell that was mounted on a 1974 GMC pickup parked on the 500 block of Oregon Street.

Sheriff's Office Log, Thursday, May 24

A wanted woman was arrested by sheriff's deputies around 12:45 p.m. for felony theft with prior theft convictions and felony drug possession.
