Police Blotter: Man Hit In Face, Robbed

The following arrest information was provided by the Watsonville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction

Watsonville Police Log, Monday, Sept. 19

8:43 a.m.—A vandal spray painted blue and white graffiti on a wall on the 100 block of Penny Lane during the weekend.

11:01 a.m.—Smash-and-grab car burglaries were reported on the 100 block of West Beach Street and, two hours later, on the 400 block of Main Street.

4:10 p.m.—A robber punched a 41-year-old man several times and demanded money from him. The man gave the robber cash. The robbery happened on the 2100 block of Freedom Boulevard around 3:30 a.m. Monday but wasn't reported until the afternoon.

11:40 p.m.—James Castro, 25, was arrested for DUI on the 1400 block of Main Street.

Sheriff's Office Log, Sunday, Sept. 18

1:20 a.m.—Deputies went to break up a large fight on the 100 block of Tierra Alta. Luis Guillen Esqueda was arrested for resisting arrest.

4:30 p.m.—A vandal keyed a car on the 500 block of Green Valley Road, causing about $400 damage.

Saturday, Sept. 17

7:18 p.m.—Juan Raymondo Macedo was arrested for violating his parole when deputies pulled over a car Airport Boulevard at Holm Road.

Friday, Sept. 16

12:30 p.m.—A wallet was stolen during a car break-in on the 200 block of Coward Road.
