Police Blotter: Narcotics Arrests and Vehicle Burglaries

The following arrest information was supplied by the Watsonville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday

10:22 a.m. Vanessa Zamora, 22, was contacted at the rear of a closed business on the 1700 block of Freedom Blvd. She displayed symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. A narcotics evaluation was performed, and she was arrested for being under the influence.

8:53 p.m. Shannon McGurk, 24, and Jessica Anthenien, 25, were causing a disturbance on the 400 block of Rodriguez Street. They were found to be intoxicated and were taken into custody. At the police station, an officer found heroin and paraphernalia in Anthenien’s purse.

Tuesday

5:30 p.m. An unknown suspect smashed the right passenger door window to a vehicle on the 100 block of Lynbrook Ct.

5 p.m. An unknown suspect made scratch marks around a vehicle on the 1900 block of Freedom Blvd. The case was closed due to a lack of leads.
