Police Blotter: Petty Theft and Drug Sales

There were also several incidents of public intoxication over the weekend.

Watsonville Police Log, Sunday, April 29

10:50 p.m. – Two juveniles walked into a 7-11 and took beer. The suspects left the store without paying, were confronted by the cashier, and fled on food.

6:20 p.m. – A woman reported that he wallet and purse were stolen from her car on the 1400 block of Main Street.

9:03 a.m. – Jennie Roberts, 50, was arrested at Rodriguez Street and W. Lake Ave after she refused to comply with the lawful requests of a peace officer.

3:57 a.m. – Antonio Pantoja, 62, was arrested at the 100 block of Nielson Street for disorderly conduct after he was found to be intoxicated and refused to leave the Watsonville ER.

Saturday, April 28

11:03 p.m. – John Joseph Bacigalupi, 69, was arrested on the 500 block of Main Street for public intoxication.

9:35 p.m. – Johnny Lee Hicks, 43, was arrested for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant on the 200 block of Alvarado Street. He was transported to country jail. 

8:21 p.m. – Raymundo Martinez, 37, was arrested for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

12:59 p.m. – Jessica Modawell caused a disturbance and broke a window with her hand on the 100 block of Herman Court. An arrest warrant was requested.

4:13 a.m. – Clintdell Taylor, 20, was contacted and arrested on the 100 block of Beach Street for being a felon in possession of a loaded firearm, possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, and various other crimes.

2:36 a.m. – Carlos Martin Gomez, 46, was arrested after he was found sleeping intoxicated on a public beach on the 400 block of Rodriguez Street, and failed to follow officers’ commands. 

Friday, April 27

7:08 p.m. – Police arrested George Bordt, 30, for possession of a controlled substance and being under the influence of a controlled substance.

4:13 p.m. – Gabreal Chavez, 25, committed petty theft at the 490 block of Rodriguez Street. He was later located and taken into custody. A search revealed that he was carrying drugs, and was on a probation violation.

12:45 p.m. – Ricky Corpus, 30, was arrested on the 200 block of Union Street for violating his parole terms.Pett

4:24 a.m. – Joci Valdivia, 30, was stopped at the corner of Bridge Street and Hushbrook Ave. for a vehicle code violation.
