Police Blotter: Public Intoxication and Carrying a Dagger

The following arrest information was supplied by the Watsonville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

9:26 p.m. Abel Chavez, 31, was contacted in public and was intoxicated on the 1100 block of S. Green Valley Road. He was very uncooperative and unable to care for his own safety or the safety of others. He was booked into County Jail.

10:18 p.m. Watsonville Police officers were dispatched to a disturbance on the 100 block of Fuchsia Dr. Albert Rodriguez was contacted and arrested for possession of a controlled substance and carrying a dagger.

5:12 p.m. Rosie Rodriguez, 52, was arrested for grant theft and for a felony warrant on the 1400 block of Freedom Blvd.

4:04 p.m. Rene Lozano, 42, fled from an officer during an investigation. He was found hiding behind a residence on the 100 block of Loughead Drive and released.
