Police Blotter: Robbery at Knife Point Thursday Morning

The following crime information was supplied by the Watsonville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

This morning at 1:58, an unknown male juvenile stole beer from inside 7-11 on the 400 block of Airport Boulevard, and attempted to leave the store. The store clerk tried to stop the subject from leaving, but he was approached by another unknown juvenile who flashed a knife at him.

The following is a look at other crimes reporting to police, and arrests, that have occurred early this morning and on Wednesday.

12:53 a.m.—Hector Ojeda, 25, was arrested on the corner of California Street and Madison Street for driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated.

Wednesday, June 22

6:22 a.m.—An unknown suspect took an unattended vehicle in front of a residence on the 300 block of Main Street. Cesar Niebles, 18, Eduardo Cruz Garcia, 19, Edgar Gonzaez-Tovar, 19, and two female juveniles are found to be in possession of the vehicle and arrested.

3:32 p.m.—Alan Moore Jr., 29, was arrested for possession of Methampethimine during a probation search near 20 Feliz. He had .5 grams (TGW) inside of his front pocket. He was later transported to the Santa Cruz County Jail for housing.

5:04 p.m.—Three female suspects and one male entered the Target store on 1415 main street, placed merchandise into a bag, and left without paying. Two female juviniles were arrested for Burglary and Conspiracy.

6:26 p.m.—Steven Eric Barton, 48, was arrested on the 100 block of Nielson Street after taking 22 methadone pills from another patient. He was subsequently detained and positively identified by a witness.

9:58 p.m.—Sergio Onefre-Ortiz, 25, was stopped for a traffic violation on the 1900 block of Freedon Boulevard, and found to be intoxicated while driving.
