Police Blotter: School Bus Driver Attacked

Robbery: A man at a pay phone was robbed by four men, armed with a gun and knife at White Street and Riverside Drive at 12:30 a.m.
Petty Theft: An unknown man in a green Mercedes stole a potten cactus from the 2000 block of Freedom Boulevard at 6 a.m.
Residential Burglary: Items were removed from a house on the 100 block of W Lake Avenue at 12:06 p.m.
Assault with Deadly Weapon on Transportation Personnel: A high school student tried to hit a bus driver in the head with a fire extinguisher after being told to get off the bus at 3:39 p.m.
DUI/Addict Driving a Vehicle/Driving with Suspended License: Edgar Diaz, 30, was arrested in the CVS parking lot at 5:22 p.m. He admitted to being a heroin addict.
Resisting Arrest/Battery/Petty Theft/Hit and Run with Property Damage/Possession of Vandalism Tools: Three people were arrested after one stole spray paint from a business, pushed an employee on the way out and jumped in a waiting vehicle. The getaway car then hit another car while attempting to flee the scene.
Petty Theft: A purse was stolen from an unlocked car on the 100 block of Logan Street at 8:45 p.m.
Commercial Burglary: Items were taken from a business on the 100 block of Crestview Drive after suspects entered from the roof at 8 p.m.
