Police Blotter: Shotgun Sprays Home

A gunman fired shots at a house in rural Watsonville on Sunday night but no one was injured, the Sheriff's Office reported.

The driveby happened around 8:35 p.m. on the 200 block of Manfre Road when someone sprayed shotgun blasts at the garage door of the home, deputies reported.

No arrests were made.

In another gun crime, three armed robbers held up two men on the 100 block of Riverside Drive on Sunday night, Watsonville Police reported.

The three robbers, who had guns, stole cell phones and wallets from the men around 9:20 p.m. No shots were fired, according to police.

No arrests have been made.

12:09 a.m.—Kevin Show, 30, was prowling in a yard on the 1100 block of Lincoln Street. He was jailed.

1:01 a.m.—Pablo Rodriguez was arrested for public intoxication on the 1000 block of South Green Valley Road.

2:33 a.m.—Xavier Carmona, 26, missed a stop sign and was pulled over on Martinelli and California streets. He was arrested for DUI and driving while his license was suspended.

9:02 a.m.—A vandal damaged a car on the 100 block of Rodriguez Street overnight.

2:45 p.m.—Noe Ortiz Hernandez was arrested for having heroin on the 400 block of Rodriguez Street. Police first stopped him because he was violating a smoking ordinance.

5:36 p.m.—A vandal scratched a woman's car on the 600 block of Main Street.

8:27 p.m.—A bike thief got away with a 26-inch mountain bike its owner had lent to a friend. The theft happened on the 100 block of East Lake Avenue.

Saturday, Dec. 10

12:08 a.m.—Francisco Delossantos was arrested for being drunk in public at Trafton and Marchant streets.

12:37 a.m.—A truck stopped for an expired registration on the 1000 block of Green Valley Road netted a drug arrest. The driver, Stephen Raca, 55, had crystal methamphetamine.

1:09 a.m.—Dorina Uvalles, 26, was passed out in a car on the 1000 block of East Lake Avenue. Police arrested her for drunk in public and a warrant.

12:23 p.m.—A man stole a bike from a front porch on the 200 block of Bockius Street.

8:10 p.m.—Burglars struck a house on the 100 block of Blanca Lane between 3-8 p.m.

4:30 p.m.—A car was burglarized on the 300 block of Green Valley Road.

A thief stole items from the trunk of an unlocked car parked in a driveway on Alta Drive.
