Police Blotter: Stop Sign Blacked-Out
Also, the PG&E yard was burglarized again. More copper wiring stolen.
A vandal used spray paint to totally black-out a stop sign on the southwest corner of Crestview Drive and Brewington Avenue, Watsonville police reported.
The vandalism was reported at 6:06 p.m. Monday. Black paint completely covered the sign. No suspects were identified, police reported.

12:18 a.m.—A 22-year-old man was arrested for DUI on Wagner and East Lake avenues.
6:37 a.m.—Car burglars broke out windows on two vehicles parked on the 100 block of Santa Clara Street overnight and stole items. A car burglary was also reported on the 100 block of Marchant Street around 5 p.m.

5:51 p.m.—A 27-year-old man caused a disturbance at his parents' house, on the 200 block of Clifford Avenue, and was arrested. He damaged property in the home and also had illegal brass knuckles.
6:26 p.m.—A 43-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public on Riverside Drive and Union Street.
11:46 p.m.—Thieves stole copper from the PG&E yard on Walker Street. No arrests have been made.

10 a.m.—A burglar stole a laptop computer worth $700 from a home on the 400 block of Buena Vista Drive.
