Police Blotter: Suspected Drug Dealer Busted with Meth, Cocaine

Watsonville Police Log, Sunday, Sept. 16

12:14 a.m.—A 35-year-old man was arrested for DUI on Freedom Boulevard and Green Valley Road.

9:24 a.m.—A window was pried off a frame on the 500 block of Martinelli Street. The window broke. The burglar also stole items from inside.

11:44 a.m.—A woman who gave police a fake name on the 600 block of Tuttle Avenue was arrested.

11:47 a.m.—Teenage boys were arrested with tobacco paraphernalia and resisting arrest on the 100 block of Jefferson Street. They were later sent home with parents.

2:06 p.m.—A camera bag containing a digital camera and a lens was stolen on the 100 block of Madison Street.

5:41 p.m.—A 56-year-old woman was ticketed for shoplifting from Kmart.

7:11 p.m.—The Watsonville Police Activities League gym was vandalized during the day. It's on the 100 block of Rodriguez Street.

9:01 p.m.—A man was arrested for being drunk in public on Clifford and Hammer avenues.

Saturday, Sept. 15

12:28 p.m.—A vandal smashed a window on a car on the 100 block of East Fifth Street and an eye witness reported the crime. Nothing was stolen and no arrests were made.

2:20 p.m.—A man was arrested for being drunk in public after he tried to start a fight at a taqueria on the 1200 block of Main Street.

9:58 p.m.—A 25-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public on the 1900 block of Freedom Boulevard.

Friday, Sept. 14

12:24 a.m.—A 47-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct on the 100 block of Green Valley Road.

11:45 a.m.—A 24-year-old woman was arrested for a felony warrant on the 1900 block of Freedom Boulevard.

2:17 p.m.—Police investigated a fight report on the 100 block of Bent Tree Court.

2:55 p.m.—A 32-year-old man was arrested for two misdemeanor warrants on the 500 block of Rodriguez Street.

4:15 p.m.—A 54-year-old was ticketed for shoplifting on the 1700 block of Freedom Boulevard.

9:40 p.m.—A 28-year-old woman was arrested for threatening a police officer, DUI and hit and run after a traffic collision on the 1100 block of East Lake Avenue.

10:12 p.m.—A man was arrested for a probation violation and drug charges after he was caught with cocaine and methamphetamine in amounts likely intended for sale. He also was booked for gang participation and a second man was arrested for violating his probation. It happened on the 400 block of Airport Boulevard.

10:14 p.m.—A 34-year-old woman was arrested for being high on drugs and resisting arrest on the 100 block of Hill Avenue.

11:38 p.m.—A 23-year-old man was arrested for DUI after he was pulled over for a vehicle code violation on the 600 block of Rodriguez Street.

11:38 p.m.—Officers responded to a street drag race in the parking lot of Jack in the Box on the 1000 block of South Green Valley Road. One man was arrested for having an illegal knife.
