Police Blotter: Teen Caught With Gun

Also, two teenagers snatched a woman's purse.

Watsonville Police Log, Wednesday, July 11

7:01 a.m.—A car was broken into overnight on the 100 block of Montebello Drive. A man's wallet that had been left in plain view was stolen. It had a credit car and cash in it.

12:43 p.m.—A man and woman were ticketed for having drug paraphernalia on the 400 block of Main Street.

1:16 p.m.—A 31-year-old man was ticketed for having a methamphetamine pipe on the 300 block of East Lake Avenue.

4:03 p.m.—Two teens stole a woman's purse that was left unattended. It happened on the 1000 block of Main Street. The boys appeared to be 14 or 15 years old

4:20 p.m.—A teenager was caught with a gun. He was arrested on suspicion of gun possession, violating a court order and gang participation. Police also talked to his mother on Sebastian Lane.

7:10 p.m.—A woman reported that her Chevy Silverado pickup was vandalized while she visited family on the 400 block of Second Street.

9:25 p.m.—A 34-year-old man was arrested for a warrant on the 800 block of Lincoln Street. It's his second arrest this month in Watsonville.

10 p.m.—A thief stole a suitcase from the laundry room of a home on Blanca Lane. The luggage contained clothing and electronics.

10:43 p.m.—A 21-year-old man was arrested for a warrant on Marcela Drive and Secoya Street.

7:20 p.m.—A man was arrested for a warrant out of San Francisco County. He was picked up on Harkins Slough Road.
