Police Blotter: Teen Stabbed
Officers also chase a suspected car thief after spotting a stolen vehicle at Main Street car wash on Sunday.
Gang members stabbed a teenage boy on Madison Street Sunday night, inflicting multiple stab wounds on the boy's back and causing serious injury, police reported.
The attack happened just before 8 p.m. on the 700 block of the street, a block off Freedom Boulevard, when five or six gang members assaulted the 15-year-old, according to police.
The injured boy was flown to an out-of-county trauma center. Other details about the attack were not released.

12:11 a.m.—Kara Serena Brewer, 26, was arrested on the 100 block of Rockins Lane for a misdemeanor warrant.

12:38 a.m.—Fernando Suarez, 28, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public on Kralj Drive and South Green Valley Road.
6:56 a.m.—A teenager broke into a car on the 100 block of Wagner Avenue but was arrested a nearby. He also had a felony arrest warrant.
5:17 p.m.—Two shoplifters stole two cases of beer from a store on the 100 block of Riverside Drive.
5:24 p.m.—An officer randomly checked the license plate of a vehicle at a car wash on Main Street and discovered the vehicle had been stolen. The driver sped off, leading police on a brief pursuit, then bailing out and running. Andres Rios Jr, 31, was arrested after a short foot chase.
8:45 p.m.—A Watsonville resident reported that a man made threatening phone calls.
