Police Blotter: Tool Thief Threatens to Stab Store Clerk
Also, police confiscated a bong and three teenage boys were arrested for a car break-in.

Sunday, Sept. 22
Car Burglary: Three teenagers smashed a car window on the 200 block of East Beach Street and stole items. They were caught and arrested just before 3 a.m.
Saturday, Sept. 21
Drugs: A man camping on Walker and West Front streets was arrested for drug possession and a probation violation just after 2 a.m.
Theft: A man shoplifted from a store on the 1700 block of Freedom Boulevard. He was detained by store security just before 10 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 20
Vandalism: Rocks were thrown through two large windows of a business on the 900 block of Main Street. It was reported just before 6 a.m.
Bike Theft: A thief cut the lock off three bikes chained together and to a pole on the 100 block of Ford Street. It happened overnight.
Drugs: A man was arrested for methamphetamine possession on the 900 block of Freedom Boulevard. He also was wanted by police.
Theft: A man was arrested for stealing a wrench set from a shop on the 400 block of Main Street around 5:40 p.m. He threatened to stab a store employee who chased after him, then gave police a fake name.
DUI: A man was arrested at Broadis and Lincoln streets just before 6:30 p.m.
Marijuana Possession: The driver of a vehicle was cited for having pot in the car after officers spotted a bong in the vehicle. The bong was confiscated. It happened around 10:30 p.m. on East Lake and Brewington avenues.
Thursday, Sept. 19
Vandalism: A vandal slashed all the tires and keyed a vehicle parked on the 100 block of Herman Court. It happened overnight.
Drugs: A 51-year-old woman was arrested for having a methamphetamine pipe on the 1800 block of Freedom Boulevard.
Battery: A teenage girl punched her father in the face and gave him a bloody nose. It happened on Tuttle and East Lake avenues just before 8 a.m.
Elder Abuse: A 40-year-old man battered his mother on two different occasions. He was arrested on the 100 block of Stanford Street around 8:16 a.m.
False ID: A man contacted on the levee near Loughead Street gave police a false name. He was arrested.
