Police Blotter: Traffic Stops Result in Two DUIs Thursday
The following arrest information was provided by the Watsonville Police Department and the county Gang Task Force. It does not indicate a conviction.
Watsonville Police Department Press Log, Thursday Dec. 29:
11:43 a.m.—An unidentified person became violent towards officers and was arrested for Battery on Peace Officer and Resisting Public Officer. The incident occurred on the 100 block of East Beach Street after officers were dispatched to a family disturbance.
4:05 p.m.—Two 39-year-old men were arrested for warrants during a traffic stop at Orchard Street and Alley Street.

5:44 p.m.—An unknown suspect entered a vehicle at some time between 9 p.m. on Wednesday night and 7 a.m. on Thursday morning, and took a check book, a jacket and a bottle of cologne. The incident occurred on the 500 block of Lincoln Street.
8:01 p.m.—A 20-year-old man was arrested for DUI when he was found to be under the influence of drugs and alcohol during a traffic stop at California Street and East Tuttle Avenue.

11:06 p.m.—A 41-year-old man was arrested for DUI of drugs and alcohol on Center Street and Hushbeck Avenue. The suspect was also driving while his license was suspended.
Friday, Dec. 30:
2:41 a.m.—A 30-year-old woman was arrested for driving on a suspended license for a DUI. Her SUV was pulled over for having a known gang member on board who was on probation with search terms. The two passengers, a 25-year-old male and a 19-year-old male were both arrested for probation violations. The incident occurred at Mariposa Avenue at Freedom Boulevard.
Santa Cruz Sheriff's Office Press Log, Thursday Dec. 29:
1:47 p.m.—A 15-year-old female was reported missing by her great grandmother and guardian on the 100 block of Anderson Drive.
