Police Blotter: Trespassers Caught Napping in Cars

Also, sheriff's deputies nabbed a 'Fugitive Friday' suspect and boys were busted with a knife and marijuana.

For at least the third time in a week, officers on Monday caught someone sleeping in a vehicle that didn't belong to them and the person was ticketed for trespassing, according to Watsonville police.

This has been happening on the 100 block of East Front Street.

Just after 11 p.m. Monday, officers rousted a 41-year-old man who was snoozing in someone else's vehicle. Last week, the same thing happened late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning to a woman anda man, respectively.

3:43 a.m.—A 22-year-old man violated a restraining order by calling a woman several times and trying to talk to her at her house, on the 100 block of Terry Loop. He fled before officers arrived.

3:39 p.m.—Two teenagers were arrested for having an illegal knife and marijuana during a traffic stop at 175 Main St. The boys got tickets and were sent home with their parents.

4:22 p.m.—A burglar broke into a house on the 100 block of East High Street by climbing through a bedroom window. The bedrooms were ransacked and items stolen.

7:47 p.m.—A wanted parolee was arrested on Rodriguez and Ford streets.

Sheriff's Office Log, Saturday, April 7

No time given—A deputy chased after a person on a bike on Bowker Road at Calabasas Road, but didn't catch the rider. The bike was later found and confiscated.

No time given—A man was arrested for two warrants and for having a methamphetamine pipe in his house on the 100 block of Azevedo Lane.

8:47 a.m.—A teenage boy was arrested for a probation violation at an apartment on Pacifica Boulevard.

Friday, April 6

6:25 p.m.— was arrested. Richard Armillotto was picked up in Live Oak by deputies.
