Police Blotter: Two Daytime Burglaries Reported Tuesday

Also, a man was caught trying to break into the change dispensers at a Watsonville self-service car wash.

Tuesday, Aug. 20
Burglary: A thief forced his way into a Holly Drive home to steal electronics and documents. It happened between 6:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Burglary: A burglar broke into a home on the 100 block of Wilkie Avenue through a rear window. Taken were stole several televisions and video game systems. The theft happened between 7:30 a.m. and 8:20 p.m.

Burglary: A man was arrested for attempted burglary after he tried to break into the change dispensers at Foamy Car Wash on Main Street around 8:45 p.m.

Monday, Aug. 19
Vandalism: A vandal defaced two U-Haul trucks at Ambar Storage on Ross Avenue. 

Theft: A woman stole $126 worth of groceries from FoodMaxx on Main Street the night before. Monday morning, police sought a warrant for her arrest.

Shoplifting: A man tried to steal boxes of spray paint from a store on the 300 block of South Green Valley Road around 5 p.m. He was later ticketed.
