Police Blotter: Vandal Tosses Trash Can

Watsonville Police Blotter, Wednesday, July 18

9:30 a.m.—A 19-year-old man was cited for having marijuana and arrested for a probation violation on the 100 block of West Beach Street.

10:05 a.m.—A 43-year-old man was arrested for being drunk in public on Main Street and Riverside Drive.

10:10 a.m.—A man was arrested after running from police on the 100 block of Riverside Drive. He gave officers a fake name and resisted arrest.

10:40 a.m.—A house was burglarized on the 500 block of Creek Drive.

11:21 a.m.—A vandal scratched a vehicle parked on the 300 block of Palm Avenue overnight.

9:48 p.m.—A 19-year-old man was drinking alcohol in public, then ran when officers approached. He was arrested on the 100 block of Marchant Street.

10:47 p.m.—A 26-year-old man was ticketed for a warrant on the 2000 block of Freedom Boulevard.

Tuesday, July 17

6:59 a.m.—A teenage boy ran from police officers on Lincoln and California streets. He was caught and arrested.

11:04 a.m.—Overnight, a car burglar stole items from a vehicle on the 100 block of Vista Street.

Monday, July 16

7:13 a.m.—A vandal threw a metal trash can through the rear passenger door window of a parked car on the 1400 block of Freedom Boulevard.

7:58 a.m.—A vandal spray painted red and white tags on the side of a building on the 400 block of Main Street.

8:05 a.m.—Items were stolen from a locker room on the 200 block of Brewington Avenue over the weekend.

11:11 a.m.—A teenage boy was arrested on a warrant on the 200 block of Union Street.

11:50 a.m.—A car burglar stole items from a vehicle on the 200 block of Shasta Street.

2:13 p.m.—A Watsonville man reported his ID had been stolen sometime in the past 12 years.

Why was the 26 yr old ticketed for a warrent ? Did I miss something ?
