Watsonville Police Log, Sunday, Sept. 11

1:13 a.m.—Consuela Amezquita, 43, was arrested for assault with weapon on the 100 block of Main Street.

1:37 a.m.—Fulgencio Avalos, 20, was arrested for drunk in public on Green Valley Road west of Quinn Avenue after police were called to a domestic disturbance.

10:48 a.m.—A window-smash car burglar stole items from a car parked on the 200 block of Silver Leaf Drive.

11:51 p.m.—Police made a DUI arrest on Freedom Boulevard at Martinelli Street.

Saturday, Sept. 10

12:55 a.m.—Juan Aguayo, Carlos Pedroza and Gerardo Sebastian were arrested for being drunk in public after police responded to a fight at Jalisco's, on the 600 block of Main Street.

2:47 p.m.—A teenage girl got a citation for shoplifting from Kmart on Freedom Boulevard.

4:51 p.m.—Jose Fuentes got a ticket for vandalism for allegedly throwing a rock at his uncle's house on the 100 block of Jefferson Street and breaking a window.

11:19 p.m.—Police pulled over a car with a brake light out on Lincoln and Stanford streets. The driver, George Lopez, 44, was arrested for DUI and driving without a license.

Sheriff's Office Log, Sunday, Sept. 11

6:30 a.m.—A man was arrested for threatening to "beat" and "kill" his girlfriend and her family. He went to her Watsonville house and brandished a baseball bat, deputies reported.

Saturday, Sept. 10

1:53 a.m.—Vandals smashed the windshield on a vehicle and slashed a tire on Buena Vista Drive.

Friday, Sept. 9

6:30 a.m.—A home on Parkwood Drive was burglarized. The burglar broke a small window on the front door and stole a 50-inch flatscreen TV and other electronics.

10 a.m.—A thief stole tools from a home on the 100 block of Kingston Drive.
