Police Blotter: Woman Busted with Stolen Vehicle, Drugs
The following arrest information was supplied by the Watsonville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A Watsonville woman went to jail on a long list of charges when police recovered a stolen car Tuesday night.
Rosa Martinez was arrested around 9:13 after she allegedly was caught with the stolen vehicle on the 100 block of Porter Drive, Watsonville police reported.
She also had drugs, a switchblade knife and stolen property with her, police said, and was on drugs when she was arrested. Martinez was booked on suspicion of possessing stolen property, a stolen vehicle, drugs and an illegal knife.

5:55 a.m.—Burglars got into a business on the 100 block of Aviation Way and stole items overnight.

8:45 a.m.—A car was burglarized on the 100 block of Firethorn Way.
2:09 p.m.—A unlocked bike was stolen on the 100 block of Martinelli Street.
3:18 p.m.—A Tuttle Avenue resident reported identity theft.
3:55 p.m.—Cesar Neiblas, 18, was arrested for violating his probation. Police caught him with burglary tools on Trafton Street west of Marchant.
4:58 p.m.—Juan Sosa was smoking pot in the City Plaza. He also had a warrant and got tickets for both.
8:18 p.m.—A car on the 600 block of Tuttle Avenue was broken into sometime after 5 p.m.

7:20 p.m.—Deputies responded to a domestic violence call on Amador. A boyfriend and girlfriend were arguing and he allegedly grabbed her to keep her from walking away. She was bruised and scratched.

A Watsonville man was jailed after he allegedly tried to rape a woman in a Salinas ag field early Sunday, KION TV reported.
Jose Valadez, 20, was arrested at a hospital. KION reported that the woman used a small knife to stab him and get away.
